I really love your more toon-like interpretation of HB. Are you going to have your pages lettered? They flow well without it from what I've seen.

No it absolutely does NOT have to be in color. If you want to and can, then by all means. But its not a requirement.

I thought color would be no arm. I was concerned to get the artwork done first.
Since I already did start with color, I will try to have all these pages on color. Would see what can I do. Time wise.
I'm going to stop the color, right now, to assure the lettering which takes me a lot of time, gets done first.
What is the final deadline BTW?
Mine is this Monday. Sunday night actually.
Thank you.

deadline was set basically at the end of Feb. so theres time.

Good clear storytelling... solid pencils... inks have a slightly quirky sensibility I like... Colors might be a little overpowering, I wonder what a more Mignola palette and color style would do..

Thank you.
Yes I'm not happy with the color either. On my calibrated screen working on CMYK these look very desaturated but when watching these same pages on my phone the color look oversaturated to nausea . I don't know why. I'll try by working on RGB, not CMYK

PS: I'm not trying to imitate Mignola. Nor any of his amazing artists.
