Frazetta homage/challenge
Here is a sketch that I did for a drawing challenge.
It's a combination of a comic concept that I'm working out and a Frank Frazetta piece called "Dark Kingdom". Done in coloured pencil, pen, white paint on coloured card. Sketch and final image.

That's pretty cool, the colors came out really good. i used to have that image (via a Molly hatchet album cover) on the wall in my kitchen.

Lol I only had it up for the image not the music...same way I had the bat out of hell album up alongside it. Having albums framed up on the wall was a good compromise with the girlfriend. If I had my way it'd be huge ass posters wallpapered all over the place.
