I had heard about the SPACE book but didn't realize it had been picked up by IDW. Congratulations! And I hope I get an opportunity to participate in future editions.

Hello Everyone!

Just a quick note to thank you all for the well wishes! It's truly a great opportunity to support the work of women in comics. And even though there's no way to fit everyone on the first series, I hope you all keep posting and being supportive of everyone involved!

Here's hoping for a great first series so more and more can be made!

Yeah, even if I can participate I definitely love the project, so many great artists involved! ^^
Space is a really interesting theme. Well, a friend of mine and I are convinced that it is impossible to make anything original anymore in this topic, I hope you can prove us wrong, though! xD (I'm thinking, if you can consider the anime series Kaiba sci-fi, it IS original, indeed...)

A little question to Renae, once you get chosen, do you send the writers prompts for their characters to work around? I.e: main topic: Space. Prompt: Asteroid :-/ Just wondering how this works..

Hello!

Once everyone is chosen they'll be notified and then you can work together from there with your artist/writer and editor when the time for your issue comes.

And just so everyone knows how it works, the people I have chosen to be on the book then goes directly into the secondary lists to pick their partners, then I notify them. For you writers, there's still one or two artists who haven't picked their writers yet, so if you want to update your tagline to something more SPACE oriented feel free to do so

And again, I wish I could fit everyone in, just like with Heroic

But stick with us and keep posting, as there will very likely be more series right after this one!!

This might be a silly question but how do you edit your tagline (it's the one in the writer's sign up right) ? I don't see an edit button to do it...

Ah, so disappointed I only learned of this amazing news today! I posted in the secondary list for artists. I'll keep checking and posting for the next one!
