PAID JOB -- Eight Page Story for Western Anthology

PAID GIG -- Need an artist (pencils and inks, story will be in black and white) for an eight page story for issue #3 of the critically acclaimed Western anthology "Tall Tales from the Badlands." The story is about a family trapped in the Colorado Rockies having to deal with the threats of cannibalism and madness. Subtlety and strong visual storytelling skills are essential.

Story pays $35 USD a page for pencils and inks (I may consider your best offer if you're passionate about the project, but cannot work for $35 a page). Payment will be sent via Paypal within five days of reception of low-rez versions of the final artwork. Within five days of receiving payment, I expect hi-rez versions of the final artwork.

While this page rate may be lower than you are used to, please consider that the work WILL BE PUBLISHED. Our first issue has sold well, and has been reviewed by major news sites like Ain't It Cool News, iFanboy, and Broken Frontier to name a few. Chances are this issue will receive similar exposure.

You can visit our website for more details about us, and contact info for all the artists we've worked with in the past. Our website is: www.blackjack-press.com.

If you are interested in this job, please send me an email at: scfahey@yahoo.com. Applicants MUST provide a LINK to SEQUENTIAL PAGES, and MUST have "WESTERN HORROR STORY ART" in the title of the subject line to be considered for the position.

I greatly appreciate your time. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Just wanted to mention that I was able to find an artist for this story. That said, I will receiving THREE MORE SCRIPTS for this issue of "Tall Tales from the Badlands" in the next few weeks, and will be posting solicitations here for those paid positions.

I've also started a Facebook page for "Black Jack Press" that I will use, in part, to announce jobs for "Tall Tales" and other Black Jack Press projects:

Thanks to all the applicants for this job. The response was overwhelming!
