Couple of things that initially struck me that I'll throw out there is 1) the neck on the closest gray plane looks off. Is it supposed to have somewhat of a goose look to it? 2) The emblem on the wings looks too similar to the Marvel Comics X-Men Insignia. Will that be a complicating factor at all? Hope that didn't come across wrong but those were my first impressions. I'd like to see more, though. That one piece doesn't really convey as much as I'd like to know about what Imperium Dei is.

Hey, glad you like it. Ok, the neck is supposed to be bent that way, yeah. it's not a freak accident. It's not supposed to look straight, since it bends "inwards". I went with the assymetrical look. Blame my fanatical aviation nerd-dom. Wait till you see some of the later, crazier stuff.

As for the emblem on the wings, you'll have to pin the blame on the Catholic church for that one. We'll explain the various symbols used in the whole story later on, but I promise, we researched that carefully.

When we post the whole first page, it will give you more clues, but like Aaron says, there really is more to explain than a few images can easily convey. I should know, we both got carpal tunnel syndrome from the hundreds of emails we exchanged discussing the minutiae of the plot.

That's the whole plot, though. Don't worry, the short Digital Webbing story won't pretzel anyone's brains. We're not cruel right away.
