The RULES! What's posted here?

Q: What's posted in the ARTIST SHOWCASE forum?

A: Artwork from ARTISTS to SHOWCASE and receive critiques on. If your post doesn't fall into that category, please post it in the other appropriate forums such as Creator Community, Collaborations, Colorist Showcase, Writer Showcase and Pimp It Here.

DO NOT post "Come to my website to see my drawings." Post a image instead and people will click your WWW button. It's really amazing how that works. Technology is sooooo cool, man.

In the past we would just move the thread to the proper area. From this point on, it'll just be deleted. Man, you guys make this so difficult on me. What's up with that?!

Yes, Artist Showcase REALLY is for the artist to showcase their work to receive feedback and critiques. Think about it -- if the forum allowed anyone and anybody to start displaying work they convinced or paid a professional to do, it'd eventually get flooded by convention sketches, doodles and even published Spider-Man covers. The pros don't sign on these projects to get their work showcased here.

Now, if it were the pro artist himself posting the image and WANTING to hear feedback -- that'd be a different story. Hell, if the pro artist himself was a regular here -- that'd even be a different story.

Get my drift? Felt this needed to be said before every Scooby and Shaggy started posting all kinds of shit. FEEDBACK is the key here. If the artist drawing the image doesn't participate or absorb the critiques and comments -- then it has no business being in here.

Q: What about nudity?

After several years of allowing nudity on these forums, we just got to the point where it's gone beyond just simple sketches of the undressed human form. We're starting to see very sexually explicit material being posted. There's just no reason for it. So, from this point on... just please DON'T post nudity (even censored black boxed nudity) on here anymore as it'll just get deleted. Let's stick to ALL-AGES FRIENDLY artwork.
