I can see some talent here for sure,,,I like the sketched ones better. I think you have hit that spot where while cartoonish things may seem easier you have to meld them with your much more detailed work. Keep at it and find the compromise between the two and you have the makings of an EXCELLENT artist.

I appreciate the crit much! Something I need....input.
I remember a comment when I was younger that I make/create a cartoon in a realistic manner.

Yea, the sketches are really a strong point for you.
The Barney Fife sketch is particularly nice! He was always one of my favorite characters.

I like your pencil sketches alot better,they're pretty solid.The rendering needs work to be as solid as your pencils.In the same boat myself!
