Short (Sci-fi?) Story in the works
I'm preparing a short story about a man that's visited by a spectre in the middle of the night. I'm planning on doing it in 8 pages so I scribbled some guidelines and went straight to thumbnailing the thing. I've added some kind of mood by working on the grays to get more information before setting up the dialogs and whatnot.

I tend to do this thing where I start any personal project from the beginning and end at the same time and then I work my way through to the middle, so the script is, more or less, just thoughts floating in my mind at the moment.
I've been reading some stuff from Enki Bilal and surely that will influence my style on this one.

This probably isn't the final layout for the pages as I'm beginning to wonder about the pacing; it's particulary tough for me to have depth while not being verbose or the pacing being too fast (actually, that's the reason why I started with the drawings before the script).

I hope to update soon with, perhaps, some panel sketches or maybe (I can dream) the whole damn thing finished :)

Hey, is it possible to post bigger images? It's really hard to see what's going on at the current size

Well, these were more or less glorified thumbnails, so I don't think It's worth a closer look, you can always use the zoom on the browser and you'll not be distracted by silly details, unless you really, REALLY want to have a look at them, in which case I put them down here and I'm not making myself responsible for any adverse physical reaction to the images :)

Here's a quick study on one of the characters. Digital watercolors, trying to find a way to paint the story with more of a traditional aproach.
