Duane Korslund 01-10-2018 04:45 PM

I've completed 1 page, 2 more or so to go

sevans 01-10-2018 07:37 PM

Mine are still sketches and a few rough layout thumbnails.
Just finishing another project first (hopefully this week)

SSTiger 01-10-2018 11:41 PM

The HULK story is still in hiatus; the second script which is being drawn by by DavidNH is still on and no problems so far. There's some tricky artwork so it's still on the roughs and layouts stage but going fine.

jeffchris50 01-11-2018 04:03 AM

Iím going to be tossing in some scripts in the next few days for various folks to peruse and see if theyíd be interested in collaborating. At the moment, looks like itís going to be the Hellboy/Scooby Doo (with some awesome guest stars!) crossover, the Hellboy/Buffy meetup and a visit from Hellboy to a certain TimeLordís infamous blue box. Iím also working on a story section which brings Hellboy into contact with various magic users from different multi verses in a effort to get HB back where he belongs. Stay tuned...!

^ Whoah.

RobertS 01-12-2018 06:56 PM

Just finished my second page of art - not sure how long it will be - hopefully 4 or 5 pages.

paul brian deberry 01-18-2018 07:52 PM

two pages (out of four) penciled and will start lettering Bishops story soonish.

DavidNH 01-21-2018 11:06 PM

Hello guys. Me and Sahith are doing this. Just received the final script yesterday. will finish this as soon as possible. hopefully the art will be done on the end of this month and Ill color them early Feb. :D

DavidNH 01-22-2018 09:50 AM

And I forgot to ask one thing. Maybe a noob question but do the artists assigned need to ink and color their work or just pencils/lines?

no not specifically. I would just like to see everyone do the best they can. if that's just pencils for you...that's fine. or color? great.
I DO want everyone to have the pages lettered and telling the story you come up with. THAT I prefer to be a focus more than inks or colors.

excited to see what you come up with.

sevans 01-22-2018 07:33 PM

Started throwing together my pages, in rough form, so they can be traced for final artwork

RobertS 01-26-2018 08:28 PM

Just finishing up the art on my last page (6 pages)...now i have to try and letter it.

I have to say, this was a fun project.

paul brian deberry 01-27-2018 09:43 PM

Our three pager is complete. Moving on to the lettering stage.

Hellboy Meets The Thing

12013 01-31-2018 05:58 PM

so just a random status based on what ive seen so far...

I just got the pages from RobertS. 6 pages inked and lettered. actually the first guy to turn in everything all done and ready to go. looks frikkin awesome by the way.

my pages are drawn. I know Bishops pages are drawn. seen lots of in-progress stuff from everyone and seriously, its all looking amazing.

the level of quality here is far and away better than the xmen books, which mostly suffered from a chaotic method of production that had the story going all over the place and not being cohesive. but THIS book...with everyone in control of their own story, getting it lettered (and colored in some cases. jealous over here), this is really starting to look like a real book and something we can all be proud of.

again, when this is all done, if we can get someone that knows HOW, to put this all together in a sharable PDF form, if we all go out and share the shit out of it...get lots of people looking and reading it, that would be awesome. maybe we can get Mignolas eyes on it as well.. cause ..why not? and get some eyes back on the site here and generate traffic here again.

proud of what ive seen being done and very glad I kickstarted this concept up again. this ..shit..is ..fun.

I can help with that. We'll just need 1080p jpegs of the lettered pages to assemble together into the final book (along with a cover if we're doing one - are we doing a cover?). Won't be anything fancy - just Cover, Contents Page with credits, clickable bookmark links to the chapters, then the stories and back cover.

a cover is in the works by Matt Triano and inks hopefully by Blip Martindale. and colors are still up in the air.

but that would be fantastic if you could help when we get to that point. THANK you...

SSTiger 02-01-2018 01:21 PM

Sure, no problem.

sevans 02-02-2018 06:46 AM

5 pages inked so far, one to go.
Then add colour and a tiny amount of lettering.

Duane Korslund 02-02-2018 08:37 AM

Looking forward to seeing them, sir! This whole thing is gonna be killer! Still working on my Scooby pages (scriptwise) and maybe a couple of others if I can find the time to work them in....

12013 03-01-2018 07:22 PM

Hey everyone. Thanks for all the updates. Obviously the ďend of February ď deadline is completely flexible. In fact it was already pushed back 2 weeks.

But thank you Matt and Ed..i know you guys are working pros and this voluntary project has to fit around the real paying jobs. But i think we are all on track just fine.

Got several more pages in from artists...we may be hitting 40plus pages total. This is looking amazing guys. Trust me.

Proud of all of us for doing this.

I myself am going in for weight loss surgery tomorrow morning but ill be up and going within a few days if all goes right . But ill be able to be contacted here And by email to stay on top of coordinating this thing. So everything is still on track.

Keep it up everyone!

Rob

Get well soon!

Duane Korslund 03-02-2018 09:01 AM

I've still got one last page to finish, work has got my life on hold. If I make it, I"d be proud to be added to the group, if not, I suppose I'll just put it up in a thread as a supplement to your collection :(

good to know. look forward to seeing it.

Effess 03-11-2018 12:20 PM

I have a little more to ink and letter. Do you have an actual day you need the completed pages by, Rob? I know it's close to two weeks done in March, but I want to do a good job.

I know some are just a bit behind. I'm okay with saying lets move the completion date to the end of THIS month.

MARCH 31st. lets try and make that the hard end date for everyone if we can.

so for everyone...just keep us in the loop as to where/what your status is. no worries.
