I feel like the variety of grayscale styles may be a little distracting. Also some have a moire effect going on.
Maybe consider doing more of the backgrounds by hand, to unify with the hand drawn figures. David Mazzuchelli would be a good one to look at, to see how he handles backgrounds.
Has a good dramatic/ noir feel to it.
