Kcsledge is on a distinguished road

For me, one of the most fun things about pacing is working it into the 22 page format. For a while, I always worried about the occassional whole scene in one page. But then I looked through some of my favorite comic issues, and saw how often well-respected writers did the same thing. ThenIO took a long hard look at my one-page scene, imagine adding more to it, and it becomes too long-winded, exposition-heavy, or padded. In parts involving conversations, I think about how much room I have, and the emotions I want conveyed by the characters to determin the number of panels in a page, and the number of word ballons belong in that page. All things said here needs to be the framework, beyond that, there needs to be a natural flow to the execution to the story.
