New Page, New Tools

So, I just finished this page today, and I'm dipping into traditional techniques now. This is the first page I've done using a quill and brush for inking, and I was really happy with the results, but would love to hear feedback from others here on Digital Webbing
I love to hear it all, as it helps me grow as an artist.

Thanks guys/gals

I like it.

Quick thing. Try to get away from the simple squared panels. Think a little outside the box with your panel design and you will see that makes your art pop off the page.

Your problem isn't the layout or the panels. They're simple and to the point. Good. Keep it that way until you know the other basics.

You need to work more on anatomy and perspective.

I think both Magnus and Paul make valid points.... BUT I would concentrate on the anatomy, so that your figures don't feel so flat.

As per suggestions here and on Penciljack, I've now started studying Andrew Loomis, as a way of developing my drawing skills. I've done a couple of pages with more variation in panel design, but lately I've been focusing more of my attention on scene composition, angles, and variety in the scene layout. I'll keep studying the anatomy and perspective aspects, but try to work a fun panel layout in the mix
Thank you guys.

I like Andrew loomis, feels more organic than say Bridgeman's teaching style.
But check him out too.

Take whatever helps you.
