You're welcome.

I'll make an observation off-the-cuff, about lettering.

Most lettering that I encounter in comic books is deficient, from the perspective of simply being able to read the comic book without squinting or zooming. I don't wear glasses. I don't wear contact lenses. Yet, for some inexplicable reason, publishers of independent comic books seem to have a dreadful tendency to make reading their comic books a chore.

Different people like different fonts. To me, personally, I am flexible on the font - as long as it is legible, and as long as it is big enough. Most lettering that I encounter tends to skimp on the size. It is far less important to me, whether the comic book is hand-lettered or lettered digitally. I simply want to read it without any headaches or obstacles that frequently accompany lettering in comic books.

The lettering that you have on display in these narrative boxes, because they are super-easy to read, what it does is make the comic book more inviting to me. It means that I am likely to browse it for longer, if the comic book is on a shelf or a spinner rack. It expedites the reading flow.

Comic books tell a story. They have art. They often have colors. Regardless, they aren't just a collection of pretty pictures. Good lettering, as is pictured here, greatly improves your chances of me reading your comic book, if I encounter it. Not just you, but anyone publishing comic books.

Your lettering isn't perfect. But, visually speaking, it's solid. It's damned good! You have difficulty sizing it to boxes that it occupies, but your imperfection there is offset by the fact that the lettering is so inviting to me to read what it says.

There are some incredible pieces here. In a way, it reminds me of the show Tales from the Crypt since the stories go in the horror direction but has its moments of dark comedy that blend in nicely to show an unforgiving world that stays on the mind. And the fact that each story has its own little twisted world makes it even more captivating.

Thank you for the kind words, sir! Tales from the Crypt and the Twilight Zone were very influential, I do love those types of stories.

This week is the one year anniversary of the webcomic!

It's been quite a ride, we secured a weekly feature on the Heavy Metal website (www.heavymetal.com), and we got stories printed in the last three issues of the current 5 issue run of Hoax Hunters. Also have more print publishing on the horizon. So thank you guys for the support!
