Wink Wonder Woman

Hi guys! My name's Erica and I'm new here. I thought I would start off by saying hi and post a Wonder Woman pic I'm working on. I finished the inking and I'm coloring it now. I'm painting it with acrylic inks. I do mostly that plus marker and watercolor. I suck at digital coloring.

Anyway, hope you like it!

Looks good. Dig the inks and the style. Post it up when it's done with colors!

I like the style.
Her proportions are more 'cute' than superhero though.

Agreed. Her head looks a little on the large side to me. That said, there's nothing wrong with that if that's what you're going for. I like the picture, Erica! Oftentimes stuff looking the same or expected is kinda' dull to me.

I also don't do much digital coloring. Mostly because I just don't want to, as I tend to prefer the look, process, and tools of traditional coloring.

Thanks, guys!

I kind of got into drawing from the cartoon/anime side of things. Some of my favorite artists growing up were Naoko Takeuchi (Sailor Moon), John K, and Glen Keane. Classic superhero is a bit of a departure for me. I tried to bring in some of those elements with my more normal style. My portfolio is here, if you want to check out my other stuff: https://ericadrawsstuff.com/

Admittedly, it's pretty anime/Disney-fied.

Welcome to the forum... and very nice work! As others have noted, it has a more cartoon style to it, but I happen to like that (as do a lot of people) so as long as that is where you're aiming, you're right on the nose!

I like that it's a bit of a different take on Wonder Woman, and I've been on a huge WW kick since the movie came out! Really love your work!

Really nice inking, dry brush style right? proportions are bit off, head is to big for the body. personally I like 8 heads as I find it easy to do.
