[PAID] Colorist + Letterer Needed for 1940s Noir Comic

Two positions. One post.

Looking for an experienced and published sequential colorist and letterer who can color and letter a 42-page first book of a sci-fi noir comic set in the 1940s.

In regards to colors, the story is set in a grounded but stylized 1940s Los Angeles. The color scheme is a cross between games like L.A. Noire and movies like Chinatown. The series features several aspects from the 1940s: detectives, classic architecture, and vehicles, in addition to some sci-fi elements like aliens and future tech that should have a classic noir feel to them.

In regards to letters, Iím looking for an experienced letterer who has some experience with historical settings, sci-fi and action, in addition to being able to emulate the feel and sound of 1940s noir. Being able to differentiate between human/alien speakers in addition to depicting more complex dialogue types like telepathy is preferred.

A quick turnaround time and consistency with delivery dates for both positions are important. Iím also looking for dedicated team members for the overall series, since the book is going to be presented in an upcoming Kickstarter campaign.

For colors, the rate is $60/page for the first book. For letters, the rate is $15/page. Iím willing to negotiate on either rate. If you donít see your preferred rate for either position, please reach out so we can discuss an appropriate rate.

Payment will be sent via PayPal, within two days of receiving a low-resolution version of each completed page. Once payment is received, artist will send the final art as 600dpi TIFF file or Illustrator file for letters.

If interested, please send links to your sequentials to tonyjames34@gmail.com. Please label the position youíre interested in the subject of your email. No PMs please.

Thank you for your time!
