BWS inspired art

So I was just gonna draw a hand holding a dagger as a panel for something. Somehow I kept going and it turned into this.

I then realised it’s heavily influenced from my memory of a drawing by the great Barry Windsor Smith who I’m a huge fan of and the style is somewhat similar I feel to his.

Let me know what you guys think.

okay

Hello. Even if it's inspired from, it doesn't really reminds me BWS, but in fact, i enjoyed your draw. i guess the right arm of the guy, i mean the forearm, is a little bit strange and short but that's okay for the whole draw emotions.

I think subject matter is where the are similarities but as far as style of art I dont see it. BWS would've detailed all those blades of grass for example.

Looks cool. In certain spots, the style reminds me more of Frazetta or Mark Schultz.
