Battle Lizard
Did this so I can see how it is to use a blue mechanical pencil lead. So far, so good. I like how easy it is to erase compared to 2h graphite plus I was getting tired of using ballpoint pens....actually, getting tired of rendering too so thats why there isn't much done here.

Pretty cool rendering, DC. Would love to see a few more "lizardy" aspects throughout the main torso; maybe more scales or the traditional sort of ribbed underbelly region inherent in some lizards. Would look pretty cool in color.

Thanks, man! I actually draw like this all the time-more than I do with finished work-so I guess that's where that confidence comes from.

The anatomy and form on this are lovely. The pose is well executed too. As I look at its silhouette I wonder if it would read better with the tail being raised enough to allow the leg and tail to read separately.
