Nice work, sir. I am also new here to digital webbing, although I have been a long time visitor/lurker. I am a writer but I enjoy checking out all the wonderful artists here. If you are in need of a good writer let me know. I really need to build up my comics portfolio.

WOW! Been a loooong time.

It's been a long time since I've ran the rounds at forums... sheesh, gotta get back in the flow now since I'm in the works of reforming the Cadre Corner Studios. Interested parties, feel free to email me direct at cadre@cadrecorner.com

Cornerstone Creative Studios (formerly Cadre Corner Studios)

Greetings one and all... my name is Jesse "Cadre" Hansen and I'm STILL an inkaholic... back in the biz once again after my hiatus and along with me comes the new and improved incarnation of what was once the Cadre Corner Studios... now the Cornerstone Creative Studios.

Hope to be able to get back in the swing of things and show everyone what we can do and what we can offer others.

Check us out when you get a chance and let me know here what ya think... thanks in advance.

http://www.cornerstonecreativestudios.com

Also, will be able to show off some recent things very soon that we've been working on.

Good to be back!

Cadre Corner Studios is now Cornerstone Creative Studios

We're back folks... with an all new name, branding and approach... we're still the guys that look out for others and one another within our family all while creating for ourselves as well as for others.

That being said, I'm back on here networking and meeting new fresh faces while also seeing if any of our old supporters, friends and colleagues are still around... hope so.

I'd be amiss if I didn't post something recent we've done for feedback, comments and overall hopefully enjoyment.

I'll just post one recent and then see if we get any feedback and then follow that with something else new... just to get the ball rolling... here's a Conan piece...

Pencils: Laszlo Tringli
Inks: Jesse Hansen
Colors: currently being done by Carlos Villas

Proudly brought to you by all members of the CCS.

thanks crognus... been quite a while... appreciate the compliment and the warm welcome back.

Hope everyone likes what we come up with and also hope that I may be of service to some here... anyone in need of inks, now's the time to get on board.

Just sayin'.

Cool work. Wish it was larger so I could see the detail better.

I like it! Inks and colors are good. The only small thing that bothers me would be due to the original pencillers work. The grey creature isn't as detailed and looks cartoonized compared to the figure leaping through the air. Look at the detail on his mouth, face, and eyes compared to the other dude. They don't quite match stylistically.

funny you mention that... the penciller had the originally done piece with the main character (lower one) much more detailed as is his own style choice but the writer/creator of the character made him tone it down, he wanted both toned down but I overrided him stating that we can keep the villain detailed to show a more gritty side... think he was thinking the merchandising side of marketing to kids or something... dunno. We also snuck in the skull shadow too (for those that noticed)... lol.

Glad you liked the cover though.
