Shadow of a Gun tells the true story of when two of my roommates and I were held up at gunpoint while in college. This graphic novel set in the year 2000 follows us from the moment of the crime through to the end of our time in court. It charts the effects being mugged had on me and house.

I wanted to tell this story for so long, but never really had the words or tools to do it, until now. My hope is that through my story people will see the benefits of getting mental health care. As with all my work I also want to tell anyone who’s gone through something similar, they are not alone.
