I wonder if you know what you're drawing, if you're really seeing the structure that you're rendering or if your technique is more a pastiche of several artists' heavy influence. It's a rather bold statement on my part, but I want to know what you think. Tell me.
This artist practically never responds to questions. I wish he did.

I think finishing pencils as tightly and as curvilinear as you do is defeating the efficacy of your sketch's energy. Trust your lines and draw through your reference, endeavor to cement the lines that work in ink instead of finishing in tight pencils (which still need to be inked). Translating it in ink means finding the rhythm you sought in the rough, it's magic when it works and great practice in general. After a time it might even change the way you approach drawing, mark-making and ultimately form for the better. I said all that to say this: it's very seldom folks are hired to draw books that shoot from pencils. Inking is a skill that new pros need to know now in a more pressing way, smaller companies don't have the budget to place pencilers with inkers -- to pay an extra person in the line -- so they tend to hire artists who can finish their pages in ink.

Thanks for sharing what you have, it's good work! Post more!

Keep going.

Best,
M
