Hello guys. This is my take on Musashi. One of the greatest swordsman in Japan back then. All critiques are welcome.

Nice work DavidNH. I like the composition with the Japanese writing, blood and water. The character looks well referenced as well - nice job.
One thing I'm not sure about is the extra staining - I think this detracts from the piece but that may just be me.

Love it! I agree, though, that some of the cool effects to make look stained detract from the work you put into the line art.

Yea maybe I should not put that stain there. Especially that curve around his body. The art is lose its focus because of the stained paper. Thanks.
