Artist needed for action/adventure horror comic

Hi all,

let me make it simple

- I can currently only offer a backend deal
- I hate myself for that but that lottery still keeps passing me by

Nevertheless I have a BIG project

- I currently have 3 completed 32-page scripts, I have 3 industry-known writers (with this I mean they are in the comic business for years now, be it freelance, amateur or pro) involved
- I also have a couple of covers ready (Eric Basaldua, Tyler Kirkham, Linsner, Greg Capullo) as well as 2 being made next week.

I also have a publisher (Diamond listing) ready, logo is ready and letterer is standbye

All in all I am pretty happy BUT I need an artist! My current artist got a gig for Dynamite so he does not have any time any more, so I thought best to ask around here!

O... I want to start with 5-8 pages and then I am also submitting it to publishers in Europe since I want the blastradius of this project to be BIG as possible

THE PROJECT:

think Indiana Jones with Danger Girls with some supernatural stuff. Some stories will play with the WW1 era, others around the Roaring Twenties, others even centuries ago, dealing with ancient Irish legends!

I am not sure if I want to go online telling all about the story but it is going to be a blast!

I am looking for a dynamic artist who can also do sexy as well as action!

I have found 2 amazing artists and several extra artists have asked me for some test-pages since their work was going all over the place on several occassions quality wise... so I have that. A few smaller stories even.

So since I am looking for more pencilers then just one...

I ask to see a half-dozen sequential pages in your best style, with emphasis on strong storytelling, body language, gesture, and excellent faces.

Do NOT send me an URL or link to Deviant Art, because I kinda not have time to go through a complete portfolio.
The sequentials you send need to be around 1000px wide max or else my email inbox will blow up most likely!

this is one OLD message.
A small update

- that publishing deal (and Diamond) never finalized sadly
- European publishers were not interested since it was too comic-y

in the meantime, I started via Kickstarter and backenddeals and now turned it around and can pay artists up front for their work.

Currently I have ZERO in my bank account BUT I do have
- 2 ashcans out
- 5 comics out
- 1 artist edition out
- one artbook (in 4 variants) out and being shipped this week

I also have 5 scripts ready to be penciled
and I have 2 books fully done and ready to be put on Kickstarter.

But first... a TPB-collection to be launched!!

this actually is not something I am doing anymore. I want folks to actually do a full story (short or 22 or 32 pgs) and will run the book via Kickstarter myself OR if I get a publishing deal

But to be frank... paying it fully myself right now so Kickstarter is the way to go.

And since I currently have no $$ in my account (since I already have 2 issues fully paid for) I can only offer backenddeals sadly.
