The Realm Ethereal "Story" page now up

I'm excited to announce I've retooled my online comic book website at www.realm-ethereal.com to now include the "Story" page. This is where my stories for my creator-owned comic book will live as I release them for free to be read online. If you notice anything or have any comments, please let me know! My comic book "The Realm Ethereal" can be painstakingly read one page at a time at a rate of about 2 pages per week at www.realm-ethereal.com. It's a series of stories based on characters I have been designing and creating for the better part of 2018.

The characters in this cosmic fantasy story all revolve around a mystical ethereal realm that is the great divide between physical worlds and that which lies beyond. Here are some of the latest pages and you can of course see more at the website.

The colors are absolutely beautiful! Why the change to black and white, will they be colored eventually?

Don't get me wrong, the inks are great too! But after seeing the potential with those colors in those first few posts, it is harder to prefer B&W.

I appreciate that you like the colors, thank you. It's just too much to try and do all at the same time...and, truthfully, I'm more interested in creating the comic book art for this series as black and white. I also paint these characters as standalone illustrations that I sell in prints and various merch through my website. Coloring the comics was killing my desire to paint...and I don't want that to happen.

I understand. Yeah in a completely free comic you don't want to crush your love of painting and take up all that extra time.

I saw, but you have a very valid reason for it. Besides, your skill set for coloring is very strong. It's always good to try and go improve other areas one thinks needs improvement.

I appreciate that, thanks. If I were to consider adding color again on my owen, I'd do it old school style, using color flats only.
