I have been looking at that Cintiq 16 myself.
How does it feel to use? Close to a natural pen/pencil feel?

if it's just about how it feels to use, the wacom line has not let me down with closeness of how it feels to actual drawing. especially now with the wacom pen 2 with the 8k plus levels of pressure sensitivity, the lines I make is more smoother compared to my wacom intuos from before.

the only thing that is a con is, I came from using the surface pro 4 and the screen resolution on that was awesome, and this wacom cintiq has only full HD.

if i wanted the same resolution as my surface pro i would have chosen the pro version of the wacom cintiq 16 but the price is more than double.

so you're using the cintiq because of screen size? do you still use the surface pro? i used to use a graphics tablet and it is effective but drawing directly on screen is so much better.

I still have the surface pro but the screen flickers when it gets hot. I became really paranoid that the surface pro might just one day give up and my files couldn't be retrieved anymore, that is why I decided to go the desktop route because the components on the desktop pc can easily be opened and fixed or swapped.

as I said, the screen resolution (not size of actual screen)on the surface pro is just so good that the details are so much clearer. the wacom cintiq 16 is just in HD (about half the resolution on the surface pro).

if I wanted the same resolution on a wacom (wacom cintiq PRO 16), the price would be doubled that of the wacom cintiq 16 (not including the desktop components).

yes, drawing directly on the screen is so much better than drawing on a graphics tablet. if you want an entry level pen display, the wacom cintiq 16 is the way to go.

Good to hear more positive reviews, I'm seriously thinking about the jump to alot more digital based work.
Not because I think it's better than paper, but because I have Sooooo many sketchbooks and half finished images taking up space. Hahaha

Love it!
this transports me back to when I was a kid and skipped school to go to the library and check out european comics such as from moebius for example.

@sevans, I have been doing all my work digitally since 2012, and I find it has a lot of advantages compared to traditional. it's not perfect, but i prefer it.
by the way, this wacom cintiq 16 is really growing on me. the new wacom pro pen 2 is really good.

@matrok, i am glad my drawings make you feel that way. Moebius is a big influence when I started to make the wild west story.
