5x5: Five Pages, Five Days a Week

So I write five pages of a self contained comic a day and then post them here.

I'll probably do it for a month so as not to completely drain myself of ideas. The ending goal being getting these comics drawn by artists and then compiling it into a 75 or so page book. That's 12 stories that hopefully showcases a whole bunch of genres and artists.

I'd love feedback on the site or any story in particular. I'm currently trying to find a better way to display PDFs on Wordpress that isn't Scribd.

The comic scripts currently on the site are:

Bone Marsh: A cruel man hunts for his supposed murderer in a fable like tale.

Millennials: A group of modern heroes for a cynical, modern world.

Sonar: A horror story on a submarine. Something is affecting the sailors and turning them into monsters.

Planet of Beasts: A retro scifi story that follows the beautiful Tatiana Rex and her robotbarian cohort Korg through a planet full of monsters and treasure.

All Manor of Flesh: Is an Edgar Allen Poe-ish tale of Victorian body horror in a large and malevolent house.

I wish I had images to post, but I don't yet! A new story will be up tonight and all this week up until Friday!

Love the idea, also great presentation.

I haven't gotten a chance to read any yet, but I'll check them out when I get time. Also kudos for producing at that rate, it's hard enough to write anything everyday.

Awesome! Thanks, I will definitely keep you in mind. Just threw up today's new story "Surface Skin" that takes place in a Terminator-esque future. Things aren't always as they appear, however.

good stuff. i'm doing something similar on patreon.com. 140 word story daily. centered around a single event. not as easy as it sounds.

Good idea! Post some images of those script pages in here so people get a sense of what you're doing and keep frequent visual updates in this thread coming and you'll get more hits to your site!
