If it were me, I'd make it so some of the light from the yellowish energy he is forming is reflecting off of his face. If you have all that stuff around you, you're going to be lit up, while your guy's face looks like he's in a scenario with typical lighting. I think I'd make the yellowish highlights on his body more pronounced as well.

I'm a real big fan of how Marcelo Maiolo handles stuff like this:



I also do something like that on this page:


You may not need to do it to the degree Maiolo does, but some reflecting light would look nice (and make more sense), I think.
