I don't see what purpose of his was served here. If it's been two years (and he left the site in that time because of some personal stuff and only recently came back, as I understand) he might not have remembered; and when you showed up and got all defensive he even apologized for his wording and corrected himself:

oh I'm sorry...was that you? I didn't keep track that close. all I know is someone was going to do this and then said they wouldn't. so I did.

So why are you so sure that he was intentionally trying to make you look bad out of some deliberate malice? Because it's not like he named you or anything and you didn't look bad until you jumped in and "derailed the thread" into a personal argument.

you didn't have to say anything at all. Rob didn't call you by name or screen name and no one asked or cared who it was. It would be a total non-issue if you hadn't posted what you did.

heres Morganza page. he penciled it. I inked it, for better or worse.

it became the default page 1 to the whole thing. I like Morgs work a lot. hes the man for sure.

I'm guessing he had to mention it as a disclaimer for the quality of his pages (his words not mine) otherwise why not just say someone backed out and leave it at that....like he did in the original thread when he did mention me by name having backed out. It was no big deal then cause that is what happened. It didn't require embellishment.

Indeed. Someone challenges the validity of your claim that "someone was supposed to draw them but backed out at the last minute. so I did all 4 of these pages in a single night. which is why they suck so much." and you don't seem to take it well.

Figured it was either her or Jean, from the silhouette. Nice inversion on the trope.

The cliffhanger splash is cool, but I'm way more impressed by the artist's rendering of that emerging-from-the-shadows shot in the previous page, which is just about perfectly executed IMO. A well-done buildup like that really helps deliver the full impact of a cliffhanger.
