The Seems of a Dream -- Question your reality
'Seems' seeks to unravel the current paradigm, post tragic events that led to a morality of all or nothing, and what happens as a result of not siding with the current corruption that the state of the world has found itself in.
There used to be a motif to 'question the nature of reality'. While granted that 'subjective reality' was already a philosophical and theosophical theory, certain stories really went past the edge to show us that reality is not all that the mainstream presents itself to be. 'Seems' follows a confused soul with a shrouded past imposed in a reality where much is questionable. 'Seems' tackles how much control the imagination has over a person's psyche, and whether an altered and modified mind can make sense of the dangers of it. Many adhere to an idea that reality must be understood as a constant. Why is it so important that reality be understood a certain way? Is it because there may be some type of control factor that prevents people from rising up and seeking to take charge over a force of oppression? We are in a new age, and the morality that is being invented only has control if people they allow it, instead of resisting. But what happens if you resist? Okay... I have Issue #1 colored, but I'm going to be re-releasing it as B&W. I'm involved in another project, and don't have the time to color the rest of the series. I'll be releasing the rest as B&W.
I finished drawing the entire series last year, and it's been on hold while I work on other projects. I managed to get #1 colored, but I don't think I'll ever find enough time to color the rest of the series. So, I'll be releasing it all as B&W. I'm still going to be releasing them on my site, I just don't know if I'm going to charge money for the rest of the series. Issue #1 will still be free though. I'd like to release the rest of the series for free, I just don't know if it's a good idea. That's the news I wanted to share. If you've read #1, take a look at the B&W version when it's finished. If you read #1, you might find the rest of the series to unfold even deeper. Thanks. |
