Paper Girls Crew (my first post)

Hey hey! I'm new to the site so I'm going to introduce myself a bit. I'm Tyler J Rider and I'm a comic artist based in Philadelphia, PA. I graduated from art school in Berea Kentucky back in August and I'm currently working from home full time to build up some portfolio pages to take to cons in 2018. I love comics and I love art so I'm hoping this site is a good fit for me. Anyways, I did this piece a month or so ago and figured I would toss it up for critique. Let me know what you think! Also, if you have advice for newbies to the site, feel free to let me know!

Did that work? I'll check the final post and edit it if it didn't. Anyways, let me know what you think! Nothing spectacular going on here in terms of story, but let me know what you think about the linework/composition/formal elements. Thanks a ton!

Welcome and that is some nice art. Unique faces and unique silhouettes, so great job on the character design. It also gives a sense of being a piece from a story and you've gotten me curious about the one with the apple.

As a tiny nitpick, I'd recommend changing the right hand of the girl with the Cap T-shirt; it seems assymetrical/out-of-proportion compared to her left arm.

It's not immediately noticeable in the group version because her arm's pressed together against revolver chick (I only spotted it because I visited your site and saw the individual design) but I think when it gets colored it might pop out more.

(Or maybe the right colors could make it blend better; I'm not sure)

Anyhow, just my two cents.

SSTiger Thanks so much for this! I never noticed this before and now I can't concentrate on anything else. I'm gonna give that right arm a little attention. I really really appreciate it!
