This is a piece I did for a friend who hasn't had a great life, though she is one of the most caring, sincere people I've ever met. I wanted to show how much she is thought of and that people care abouther wellbeing, so I used her image to create this piece for her birthday.

nice is there a photo ref ? I always wanted to pictures like these but I'm to hyper critical of my own work. I can never seem to capture who they are.

Just for her face. I tweaked the pose from an illustration that I saw and just took it from there. I grabbed a photo of her off of her FB page.
