My latest painting, revisiting the character Mirela in this new piece titled "Mirela - Of The Land". This year I'm finding myself more and more intrigued with seeking more freedom in my approach to painting. I'm aware of using a limited color palette and all, but at the same time, I'm feeling a little more excited about pushing the colors I am choosing in my paintings. We'll see what happens.

This version of this character is a new take from the previous version I painted almost two years ago. For a comparison of this painting and that older one, check out my blog. I'm backing off making any comic book art for the foreseeable future. I'm having too much fun focusing on painting.
