Writer Looking for an Artist to Collaberate With [Unpaid]

Hi!

I am a published writer who is looking for an amazing artist to work on my manga, The Mystery of Tokyo Bay. A little about me, I am 20 years old, when I am not writing or working I am planning new writing ideas. I signed to my publisher in April and am happy to finally experience my dreams. I am also currently working on a manga and webtoon by two other artists but don't want to overwork them. Still, they are such amazing people.

I am under a publisher called Horizon Publishing who would also like to sign the artist to the company as well. Though if you wish not to join it's okay as well, I’m just glad to work with you.

So The Mystery of Tokyo Bay is actually out but the artist has had life changes and can't work with us anymore. I am hoping here, I can find another artist who wants to work with me. It came out in September and had some success I would say.

Despite the fact that it says unpaid, I am offering a 50% split of 60% of the profit with the artist while my publisher, who will be publishing the manga, will be getting 40 % for promotional cost. (Can be negotiated). I mainly say unpaid because the artist is not paid the same day they start working but by commission. (hoping to get to that point one day). My publisher focuses the publishing on Amazon books and has had experience with publishing mangas, novels, and webtoons.

Genre: Romance and mystery

Blurb: What would you do if every time you slept, even naps, you were transported to another world full of spirits? Would you run, hide, or investigate? Those are the questions these five people are asking. To stop these dreams, they must investigate. Our main character, Mai Arashiro, is determined to stop these dreams but faces many challenges.
