Our company (GHG) packages creative services for Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, Dynamite, IDW, Red Giant, BDI, Disney Worldwide Publishing, DreamWorks Publishing, Hasbro, Reader's Digest Books, Watson-Guptill, Stone Arch Books, and many others.
We've been tasked by a publisher to develop for them a line of a dozen or so quality online comics, requiring anywhere from one to three pages per week. Art, coloring, even lettering. STYLES needed: Moody realistic styles, sexy girl styles, straightforward adventure styles. No generic manga styles. These are NOT back-end deals, but being online comics budgets will be $50.00 to $100.00 per page, all-in, with royalties payable on print editions... which is better than back-end deals get these days, as well. ANd yes, we are planning also print editions in time to come. We ask to see a half-dozen sequential pages in each style mentioned earlier, with emphasis on strong storytelling, body language, gesture, and excellent faces. Do NOT send me an URL or link to Deviant Art, because we kinda not have time to go through a complete portfolio. The sequentials you send need to be around 1000px wide max or else our email inbox will blow up most likely! Contact me via bad@boomvavavoom.com The details then: PAYMENT: $50.00 to $100.00 per page, where a page is considered finished once colored. PAYMENT TERMS: payment NET 30 days, after receiving a standard invoice, as well as completed HighRes page (pencils, colors, etc) REFERENCES: well... I am Richard Boom and you can google me all over the place ![]() I started with a Yahoo group on Bad Grrl comics, then began running around a convention floor in Belgium (www.facts.be) helping to get international celeb artists to come over. Here I met a guy from Broken Frontier (news web site) for who I started working and after a while even started out www.comicsforsinners.com while also running www.ericbasaldua.com In the meantime I started an Art Agency (but also doing PRess Releases, creating web sites, doing art sales, managing content on websites like for Amigo Comics) which got noticed by the biggest Art Agency in the world (Glass House Graphics) and now I am the European GHG Art Agent, so to speak. On the side I also edit comic books and you can see me in the credits of "Nancy In Hell On Earth #3" (Image Comics) and the series "Rogues!" and "Westwood Witches" (Amigo Comics) amongst others! I was even KILLED in a few comic books (Darkness Level 3 by Eric Basaldua, Heroes For Hire by Billy Tucci) which is always fun ![]() There is LOADS more but just meet me on Facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/boomvavavoom and https://www.facebook.com/Comics4Sinners and https://www.facebook.com/BoomArtDepartment and https://www.facebook.com/GlassHouseGraphicsEU and https://www.facebook.com/factsconvention ) and you can see what I am up to! |
