post a pic of your desk/work area!

always like seeing these type of threads .. satisfies a curiosity in me.

anyway, here's mine from a few years back, mostly the same, but some subtle differences since the pic was taken:

And it is such a wonderful feeling, isn't it? :P And people think it's such a fun job!

That above pic of me is indeed candid, I was in the middle of a horrible Batman deadline, staying up through the wee hours of the night. My friend was over hanging out (which of course didn't help my focus on getting the work done), and snapped a pic with his camera phone when I wasn't looking!

Best,
TOM

I don't know about wonderful. I'm feeling like crap right about now, for the last two days really, and I've lost track of how many hours I've put in since Monday. I miss being able to call in sick to work when I don't feel well. Of course, that's about the only thing I miss.....

Wink Workstations

Drafting Table & Laptop, chair thief (One who orchestrates it all):

ANOTHER Chair thief:

Graphic Station - cats stealing Wacom & mouse, Purrvette giving "The Look."

They force me to play with them, 30 minutes a day, or they won't let me work! You know - chasing them down the hallway, bapping feathers, sneaking up on them, then chasing me back.

Having Persian cats is like having litterbox trained dogs, lol.

those cats are great! no regard whatsoever for your work, for them it's comfort and comfort only, wherever it might come from. i love cats.

where i should be sitting, making notes on pages to send nick bradshaw.

pages i should be making notes on on the floor, pages i need to hang on the walls behind them...

that shoprite bag has some of my best writing in it, trapped in little notebooks and on scraps of papers, menus, bus schedules...the stack of paper to the side is pretty cool, it's all the prelim stuff farel did for 'caper', cover roughs, layouts, character sketches, the script...he was going to throw it away when he was moving out of nyc, even half-drunk in the early morning i was smart enough to grab it and say, hey, i'll take it, let's put this in my bag. if you dig the process, the history of it, which i do, it was a big score.

computer/desk. sorry for any offensive objects but this is the pic i shot and i wasn't paying attention.

spider-man and dd double-splash from the first time i got to see my scripts/thoughts become actual comics. my friend senk chhour gave me the pages.

old computer/fax/phone/notes/bills.
