Need your help with decision

Hey guys and gals,
We have been going round and round on covers for the first issue which will see distribution in the winter of '06. If you were in a comic store what cover would catch your interest and why? Your feedback is appreciated.
RUNNING COVER 1

RAMBO COVER 2

UNDER WATER COVER 3

CRASH LAND COVER 4

I like the first and fourth the most. The fourth needs an issue number somewhere on it. I think the logo you went with for the first three looks better than on the fourth. Out of the four I think I would be more compelled to pick it up based off of the fourth cover. #2 and 3 I would use as pin-up/promotional pieces.

Considering the wild name of the book
(nice!) i'd recomend the underwater one...give people a little of the obvious otherwise you're doing a non sequitor and that's become so common as to be boring.

crozonia will become famous soon enough

I agree with Kep, the 3rd one. But as someone who publishes an underwater comic book, you can do so much more to make that cover appealing. Light rays shining through the water surface. Some water acaustic patterns. Particles in the water , etc...

3rd is the strongest but, no offense intended here, their all weak in the composition.

I think I'll go with #3 to tie in with the name of the comic.

Thank you all for your input. We decided to go with the underwater cover and update it with some lighting effects. See you in San Diego.

Am I the only one who really liked #4? Something about the alien's expression just cracks me up. ^^ 3 is probably the best for the concept, but my fav is 4.
