"The 18th century will never be the same"

Fans of the Rabbit and Bear Paws comic strip will be thrilled to hear that they can now access the Rabbit and Bear Paws strips through award winning Lynn Johnston’s, For Better or For Worse web site!

“It is an amazing honour for us to be associated with such a well loved and respected comic strip. Lynn Johnston has won awards from the Union of Ontario Indians for her positive promotion of Native cultures and traditions. We are thrilled to have Lynn Johnston’s support to continue the promotion of such healthy representations of the Native community in the Rabbit and Bear Paws series of comic strips.”

This should add to our growing online family which already includes 1.5 million viewers on all the top aboriginal youth web sites and in Native community newspapers.

"Little Spirit Bear Productions" is a First Nations (Anishinabek, Ojibwa) Multi-Media company that was created in 2005 by Chad Solomon, grandson of a Native Traditional Healer and Justice Activist Art Solomon, to share the humorous adventures of Rabbit and Bear Paws.

This fresh and funny comic strip for the young and young at heart is created and drawn with the guidance of his Community Elders in collaboration with writer Christopher Myer. The first series of comic strips are based upon the teachings of the Seven Grandfathers (wisdom from the Anishinabek community) and are rapidly gaining enthusiastic fans for their vibrant and entertaining images of Native Traditions and Oral History.

Adventures of Rabbit and Bear Paws, the first compilation of the comic strips in graphic novel format, will be available very soon, along with a new installment of the comic strip series based on the second of the Seven Grandfathers' teachings - Aakdehewin - Bravery.
